Today, the Startup Incubator team had the privilege of hosting a visit from Mr. Kurt De Gold, a Professor at Elizabethtown College, USA and his students. The meeting provided an opportunity for the Startup Incubator team to share their experiences and the impact of their work in supporting entrepreneurs in The Gambia.
The discussions centered around the various initiatives and programs that the Startup Incubator offers to support entrepreneurs. The team highlighted the various challenges that entrepreneurs in The Gambia face and how the Startup Incubator is working to address them. The team also shared the success stories of entrepreneurs who have gone through the program, highlighting how the support provided by the Startup Incubator has helped them to grow and scale their businesses.
One of the key areas of focus discussed was the incubator’s Agribusiness Incubation Program which is geared towards helping entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector to improve their productivity and profitability. This program provides training and mentorship to participants, as well as access to funding and other resources to help them grow their businesses.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for the Startup Incubator team to learn more about the work of Professor De Gold and his students. They shared their research interests and how they can collaborate and support the work of the Startup Incubator.
