We provide swimwear, accessories, leisure wear produced in The Gambia using wax material. Gambians spend Sundays enjoying the beautiful beaches that stretch across the coastline of our country. And though we pride ourselves on the vibrant colors of African wax fabric we lack locally handmade clothing, leisurewear and accessories that fit comfortably on the beach. I wanted to create clothing for those Sunday beach days, to give Gambians a local option for their swim, accessories and leisure wear. TIGA celebrates the beautiful vibrancy of African wax fabric, the creativity of regional fashion, and the importance of locally produced art.
